 Malkhaz Gulashvili - celebrated Georgian publisher, a journalist, politician and infamous public figure. He is distinguished within CIS countries and on an international level for his unwavering principles and hard hitting journalism.  As a devout Orthodox Christian, Gulashvili is known for being trustworthy and honest. In [ ]  ,he wrote the book – “A Way to the truth, a Peaceful Caucasus and a United Georgia”, which  became popular after the author personally presented  a copy to Russia’s former president and current prime-minister, Dmitry Medvedev at a Russian media-forum. In Georgia, Gulashvili was soon targeted for political reasons by the staunchly anti-Russian regime of Mikheil Saakashvili. He initially had to flee to Russia but longing for his homeland, he returned to Georgia and became one Saakashvili's many political prisoners.

In November 1993, the trilingual weekly newspaper “The Georgian Times” was created


Its aim was to support Georgia's morality and ideals, providing constant encouragement and filling an informational vacuum, then and now, and sharing insight with the world about problems and challenges faced in modern Georgia.
“The Georgian Times” made a solid business package with numerous independent structures over the years, thus evolving into the most successful name on the Georgian media-business scene today.
The newspaper serves intellectual readers and its aim is to present Georgian national politics based  on national desire and to provide readers a wide range of information, detailed analytics and suggestions how to fact actual difficulties in innovated ways.
The newspaper has been the vanguard of Georgian press from the very first edition,
From November 27, 1993 up to the present – the trilingual newspaper “The Georgian Times” has been published (p.12 in Georgian, p. 2-2 – in Russian and English).

Since 1994 – “The Georgian Times” has been published as an independent weekly English-language newspaper.
It is the first press-bridge between the Caucasus and the rest of the world during that period. The world continues to be informed about current events in Caucasus through this newspaper. It is for this reason that many foreign newspapers seek to forge partnerships with “The Georgian Times” - as demonstrated at the World Association Congress of Newspapers.  Such strategic partnerships with foreign colleagues can be considered as the greatest acknowledgment for “The Georgian Times”.

Since 1994 – the Centre of the Caucasian Strategic Researches and International Relations “Azri” was created. It is an intellectual engine of holding which actively collaborates with international organizations.

From 1994-1996 – the Russian version of the “The Georgian Times” weekly newspaper was published.
Political and business-technological centre of “Georgian Times” serves to develop national the self-consciousness and to reveal Georgia throughout the external world’s spectrum. The Centre works where there is a great politics and a great business.

From 2000-2001, the Russian weekly newspaper “Ekho” was published

In 2001, “The Georgian Times” was for the first time published in Azerii language
Archimandrite Raphael’s book “History Orienter”, the second book of Archimandrite Raphael’s “Why doesGod tolerates us?, the collection of books “Songs of Fereidanian”, thebook “A Way to the truth, a Peaceful Caucasus and a United Georgia” authored by Malkhaz Gulashvili, the ex-president Eduard Shevardnadze’s book photo-gallery and a book titled “Rose Revolution”.

In 2000,“G.T.” journalistic investigation was created. Journalists working in this field dig deep into the most pressing issues of the times.

In 2000, – the newest IT-technical department was modified to provide the holding’s internet service and permanent activeness in the world global information network. This department combines a web-studio and internet publications and includes: website model creation, consulting, design, programming, databases, the site’s automatically support system, and the development and advertising of local social networks, etc.

Since 2001, the information service “GT News.ge’’ was created. The service offers information in three languages: Georgian, Russian and English languages and is operational throughout the entire Caucasus. It has published world media in the leading Georgian press.

In 2000 – the monthly journal “Tribuna” was published

Since 2002 – an image-service “Mrcheveli” (“Adviser”) comprising experienced specialists was created.
