Temur Basilia arrested in the United States
U.S. police have arrested Temur Basilia, an advisor to Georgia`s ex-president Eduard Shevardnadze for economic issues. Basilia fled Georgia after the Rose Revolution and lived in the United States since then. The ex-official of Georgia`s government, who was sentenced to 9 years in prison by the Tbilisi city court for various charges, worked at one of the international organizations in U.S. Basilia was wanted by Interpol since 2004.

Windstorm ruined building injuring four
Sudden windstorm ruined two floors of a 14-storey building in Batumi yesterday. The building on the crossing of the Chavchavadze and Japaridze Streets is under construction. The ruins fell on a nearby two-storey house win which 15 people lived. Luckily, they managed to leave the building in time, however, four people; two children among them were injured in the incident.
