Two week long non-stop rains have caused flood in the city of Poti. The streets of the city are completely flooded. The water has damaged the ground floors and the basements of the houses, agricultural lands have been also flooded. It is impossible to walk in the city due to the flood. The disaster has also halted the traffic. Municipal officials say all five pumps work to pump the water, however, the heavy rains hinders its operation. The situation is similar in the village of Chaladidi, a nearby village.
