The discussion on NATO enlargement and the possible membership of Georgia in the alliance was held in the U. S. senate yesterday. The meeting was held in the committee of Foreign Affairs. Former State Secretary of the United States, Madlen Albright, former ambassador of the U.S> to NAOT Kurt Walker and the General of the U.S. Army, John Cradock were invited to the discussions, where U.S. -Russia relations were topical. The participants of the discussion agreed that the enlargement of NATO was very important for providing security in Europe.
