Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia Illia the Second will visit Baku today. His Holiness will take part in the events to be held on 5 November, the 60th jubilee of Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade and his 30-year activity in this post.
Catholic Patriarch received invitation to take part in the solemn events several days ago.
Catholic Patriarch of Russia Kirill and other spiritual leaders of different churches are also invited to take part in the jubilee event.
Russian Patriarch will be also attending the events, but te meeting of the Georgian and the Russian patriarchs are less possible due to the lack of time.
