National opposition party in Peru has proposed the national congress to discuss the recognition of Georgia`s breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Inan interview with Russian news agency RIA Novosty, Olianta Umala, the leader of the opposition party said that the Congress of Peru would have not reason to reject the proposal. `Peru is one of the countries which have recognized Kosovo independence, therefore, Abkhazia and South Ossetia deserve to be recognized too,` Umala has said. The leader of the Peru opposition party said they were holding consultations with the ruling party and other political factions in the congress.
