Speaker accuses Russia of creating icon of enemy of Georgians
Georgian parliament speaker Davit Bakradze lays responsibility for the murder of Eduard Ghurtskaia, 19, not only on those militiamen, who beat him up to death, but on those politicians, who create the icon of enemy of Georgians. Other MPs have also condemned the murder. They say the growth of the violence against Georgians in Russia was the result of the encouragement and non-punishment by the Russian politicians. A Georgian singer, who works in Russia, Diana Ghurtskaia has also responded to the incident. She said she was concerned with the murder of a young man, who was killed only for his ethnicity.
