Georgia-EU Visa Facilitation and EU-Georgia Readmission Agreement is Initialed
On November 25 in Brussels, Georgia and EU initialed the Georgia-EU Visa Facilitation Agreement, Foreign Ministry of Georgia informs. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs David Jalagania initialed agreement on Georgia’s behalf whereas Deputy Director General of the External Relations Directorate General of the European Commission Jean Louis De Brower initialed agreement on behalf of the European Union. The sides also initialed the EU-Georgia Readmission agreement. As deputy head of foreign ministry Nino Kalandadze explained in the beginning of the week, visas for trade-education aims, also transportation regulations for common citizens will be simplified and visas for treatment in the EU states will be cheaper too. Visas will be easily issues to the students, journalists; departure of next of kin citizen of Georgia will be simplified to EU. Georgia-EU Visa Facilitation and EU-Georgia Readmission Agreement will be signed by the end of the year.
