CDM sends address to embassy of France
Christian Democratic Movement of Georgia has sent a special address to the embassy of France in Georgia asking to refrain from providing Russian fleet with assault weapons.
Nika Laliashvili of the movement introduced the content of the letter to media today. He said Russian officials had begun speculations that Russia would occupy Georgia easily if it had proper hardware in its fleet, meaning the Mistral, an amphibious assault ship a type of helicopter carrier of the French Navy.
Laliashvili said the president of France, who is the author of the ceasefire document during the Georgia-Russia war, cannot sign the decision on providing Russian with offensive weapons.

The persecution which is currently being inflicted on members of the Public Orthodox Movement is only due to their free expression of opinion. 8 members of the Movement have been imprisoned for two months, while Georgian justice has used a special legal provision against the leader of the Movement, Malkhaz Gulashvili, and his juvenile son David Gulashvili. This provision has not been used against any other citizen of Georgia so far.

The summer is almost over, but the question of where we can spend our holidays is still very important. This summer, unlike previous ones, the weather is very hot and people like to go to the seaside. Most people prefer to go abroad, to Turkey, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria etc... If you have money, you have a big choice and you can make your dreams come true even in the Maldives.
