CoE Commissioner for Human Rights arrives in Tskhinvali
CoE Commissioner for Human Rights, Thomas Hammarberg has arrived in the occupied Tskhinvali region to hold negotiations with the authorities of the South Ossetia puppet regime. Reportedly, Hammarberg will demand release of Georgian hostages held in the Tskhinvali insulator, four of which are minor.
Hammarberg tried to travel to Tskhinvali yesterday; however, the separatists did not let him cross the boundary line. They even shot in the air when the CoE commissioner was waiting for their response at the Ergneti checkpoint.
Hammarberg arrived in Georgia on November 27 and he will stay in Georgia until December 4. Hammarberg wants to join the negotiations about the release of four Georgian underaged, who were arrested for `crossing the borders of the republic illegally and for carrying explosives.
