Parliament to Start Discussion of New Amnesty Bill
The Georgian Parliament starts discussion of a new amnesty bill today.
The bill was submitted to the Parliament on 14 December. The bill exempts people, having committed crimes under the 339th, 362nd or 1st half of the 363rd articles of the criminal code, from punishment.
The above-mentioned crimes are related to making, keeping, using, and realization of false certificates of full general education in 2003-2004 learning year.
The bill on amnesty will be presented by MP Chiora Taktakishvili in the education and science committee.

Summer means certain responsibilities. One of them is picking a book to read while vacationing. For me it was “Geisha of Gion” by Mineko Iwasaki. This is a book written by an actual Geiko (Geisha from Western Japan) who closed down the geisha house and chose to live a family life.
