Davit Bakradze visits Lithuania
Speaker of Georgian parliament, Davit Bakradze has left for Lithuania to participate in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Baltic States in Vilnius.
The Parliamentary Assembly session will be held on November 26-29. Bakradze said within the event he would deliver a detailed report on the situation in Georgia and introduce the problems in the solution of which the country needs the support of the friend countries.
Davit Bakradze said the Baltic Parliamentary Assembly is a very significant structure for Georgia, because these countries support Georgia in various spheres, including its aspiration to become the member of European structures.
Mantas Adomenas, the president of the Baltic Parliamentary Assembly invited Georgian parliament speaker to the upcoming session. Mantas Adomenas visited Georgia two weeks ago.

Temur Basilia, former economic adviser to President Eduard Shevardnadze, was detained in the USA on 4 February. He has lived in the USA for the last few years demanding political asylum. He appeared on TV in 2009, attending one of the events of the Strategic Research Centre of America, but did not express any desire to talk to Georgian journalists and threatened to set the police on them.
